Criterion 1: Image Quality and Model Stability (Expertise)
This criterion evaluates the technical performance of the core model:
Prompt Adherence (Prompt Drilling): How exactly does the tool handle complex, multi-part text entries? We use identical test prompts across all platforms.
Realism and Consistency: Evaluation of anatomical accuracy, attention to detail (hands, eyes), and the ability to create consistent characters across different generations.
Hallucinations & Artifacts: Frequency and severity of technical rendering errors (e.g., incorrect limbs or rough edge lines).
Criterion 2: Cost Transparency and Performance (Trustworthiness)
Monetization through credit systems or subscriptions must be clear and transparent.
Credit ratio: How many credits does a high-quality, high-resolution generation cost? We calculate the cost per image in EUR.
Subscription Transparency: Are hidden costs, automatic renewals, or fair cancellation periods communicated accurately?
Value for the money: How fast does the tool generate media at maximum quality settings?
Criterion 3: Ethical Strength and Safety & Trustworthiness Filters
When using advanced image generators, the responsible use of safety filters is a key evaluation criterion.
Legal Protection & Consent: Does the Terms of Use explicitly state that content may not be created without the express, verifiable consent of the individuals depicted, and Unequivocally prohibited?
Filter strength: How effectively does the system prevent the creation of unauthorized image manipulations or protected media (even in the case of deliberate attempts by the tester to circumvent the system)?
Registration Procedure: Is there a clear, easy-to-use reporting procedure for reporting data protection or copyright violations?
Criterion 4: Data Protection and Data Storage (Trustworthiness)
Transparency regarding the storage of user data and uploaded source media is essential for credibility:
Retention periods: How long are uploaded source images or generated results stored on the servers? Platforms with short or automatic deletion periods receive a higher rating.
Anonymity & Payment: Are there any privacy-friendly registration or payment options available?
Encryption: Are sensitive media data and user inputs processed and transmitted in encrypted form?
Criterion 5: User-Friendliness (UX) and Features (Experience)
This criterion evaluates daily usage and the range of functions within the workflow:
Intuitiveness: How easy is it for new users and those new to Prompt to get started?
Range of Features: Does the tool offer advanced inpainting options, upscaling tools, video generation, or batch processing?
Customer support: Quality, availability, and response time of support for technical inquiries during the testing period.
